Life has not been kind to the majority of us. We may remember these celebrities from when they first appeared on television, but they have also faced difficulties in their lives. We will all have to face aging, no matter how much we try to prevent it. As a result, we may not be as attractive as we once were. Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. Despite their changing appearances, many of these stars continue to have successful careers in show business. It demonstrates that your talent is unaffected by age. Here are some aging stars who are almost unrecognizable, ranging from Val Kilmer to Johnny Depp!
Val Kilmer Then
Val Kilmer began his career on the theater before transitioning to acting. He made his television debut in an ABC Afterschool Special in 1983, featuring a young Michelle Pfeiffer. By the end of the decade, he’d co-starred in Top Gun with Tom Cruise, and by the mid-1990s, Val Kilmer was considered serious hot money. He famously beat out INXS’ Michael Hutchence for the role of Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s blockbuster film about The Doors. Heat, in which he co-starred with De Niro and Pacino, is largely regarded as his best performance.
Val Kilmer Now
Although some have claimed that Val’s waistline has reduced over the years, we believe he still looks amazing for his age. Regrettably, he has vanished from both the big and small screens. After years of gaining weight, he stunned viewers with a rapid weight drop, claiming on Twitter to be down to 165 pounds. Val’s professional career has come to an end. In truth, he’s been performing Citizen Twain, a one-man show written and performed entirely by him. He received a Grammy Award for his spoken word work in 2012. Rumors of a Top Gun sequel may also motivate you to get in shape. Val, you look fantastic!
Sally Struthers Then
Sally Struthers won over American hearts as Gloria Stivic, the daughter of Edith and Archie Bunker in Norman Lear’s groundbreaking sitcom All in the Family. She didn’t expect to get the character because it was originally offered to Candice Azarra, who played Gloria in the pilot episode. Candice was immediately discarded in order to make place for Sally. Gloria Struthers was known for her blonde pigtails and obstinate manner as she dealt with her domineering father. Sally’s life took a turn for the better after that, as she grew to become one of America’s most recognizable television personalities.
Sally Struthers Now
It’s impractical to expect the years to be kind to everyone, but Sally hasn’t let her age stop her from working. She has long been a supporter of the Christian Children’s Fund (now ChildFund), an organization that aids hungry and disadvantaged children in underdeveloped nations. In 2014, she also played Dolly in the 50th anniversary version of Hello, Dolly! Struthers was satirized twice on South Park in episodes featuring a starving youngster dubbed “Starvin’ Marvin,” The humor focuses on Struthers’ overconsumption in comparison to her efforts to help the hungry, hinting that she is hoarding food. She was allegedly unhappy by the portrayal, which we can understand. Ignore the critics and keep doing your best, Sally.
Mickey Rourke Then
Mickey Rourke made his comic breakthrough in the 1982 picture Diner. Though it didn’t exactly break new ground, his acting abilities and ability to handle the contentious subject matter in his roles elevated him to popularity in the 1986 film 912Weeks and the 1987 film Angel Core. These films, however light by today’s standards, solidified his image as a sex idol alongside co-stars Kim Basinger and Lisa Bonet. Rourke, on the other hand, had had enough of acting and moved to box in 1991. He had trained as a fighter when he was younger. His boxing career was brief, lasting only three years.
Mickey Rourke Now
When Rourke returned to acting following a boxing career in the 1990s, he scored a few minor roles. Despite his face being seriously wounded from his time on the combat scene, his incredible talent motivated him to labor ceaselessly, typically playing misfits and misdirected tough guys. Rourke didn’t have another notable supporting role until 2005’s Sin City. In 2009, his performance in The Wrestler earned him a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and an Oscar nomination. He’s undergone numerous cosmetic procedures over the years, and as a result, he’s a lovely older man.
Kathleen Turner Then
It was difficult to go to the movies in the 1980s without seeing Kathleen Turner. She appeared in a number of notable films, including Body Heat, Romancing the Stone, Prizzi’s Honor, The War of the Roses, and Peggy Sue Got Married. Her smoldering beauty and seductive voice made her a perfect choice for the role of femme fatale in Hollywood. She won a Golden Globe for Best Actress and was nominated for an Academy Award during the decade.
Kathleen Turner Now
Kathleen Turner has little control over her transformation from a sex siren to a normal citizen. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in the 1990s, which caused her tremendous pain and forced her to use a wheelchair. Some criticized the medicine prescribed for her recuperation since it caused general weight gain and bloating. Turner, like many other female actors, was pushed out of the spotlight, and her acting opportunities switched from “star” to “mother” or “grandmother.” Her arthritis has luckily gone into remission in recent years, and she has appeared in a number of guest roles on television shows such as Friends, Nip/Tuck, and Californication. We’re relieved she’s looking and feeling better.
Rupert Everett Then
Rupert Everett won a BAFTA for his breakthrough performance as Julian Mitchell in Another Nation in 1984. He played an openly gay pupil at a 1930s English school. He was known for playing bad guys, and his smoldering good looks helped him secure jobs in films throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Everett attempted (unsuccessfully) to turn his popularity into a music career as a pop sensation with his song, Generation of Loneliness. But it was too late; the audience still thought of him as a wonderful performer, and admirers ignored his artistic endeavors. He won his second BAFTA and his first Golden Globe for My Best Friend’s Wedding in 1997.
Rupert Everett Now
Rupert’s current appearance is fine because he no longer resembles the fresh-faced boy who once graced the silver screen. He is, however, still behaving as regularly as he used to. This year, he starred in Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and he previously acted in the Shrek flicks and the Chronicles of Narnia. He’s also dabbled in fiction, publishing two memoirs and a novel. He has spoken out on a variety of political and social issues, including the decriminalization of prostitution and same-sex marriage. Clearly, there has always been more to this new Renaissance man than meets the eye.
Lara Flynn Boyle Then
Twin Peaks was a horror favorite as well as a huge television success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. David Lynch’s unusual take on small-town life in the aftermath of Laura Palmer’s unsolved assassination captivated audiences throughout the country. If Twin Peaks had a face, it would be Lara Flynn Boyle, who played Donna Howard, Laura’s close friend who became obsessed with investigating the crime, in both seasons of the show’s limited existence. She did not, however, reprise her role in the film sequel, and she has already denied a position in a new TV series slated to debut in 2017.
Lara Flynn Boyle Now
Lara Flynn Boyle, like every other human who has matured, is no longer the seductive siren of her youth. She is, instead, a well-dressed, distinguished-looking middle-aged lady who has made an effort. It’s easy to see how youthful beauty would feel pressured to maintain their appearance with surgical treatments as they age. Lara made the best decision for herself, and she is in great shape for her age.
Igor and Grichka Bogdanov Then
Igor and Grichka Bogdanov, identical twin superstars from France, began their careers as science television presenters in the 1970s, but their identities and social lives frequently overshadowed their work. The Bogdanov case, in particular, called into question the legitimacy of the theoretical physics articles they authored and promoted. The brothers remained in the public eye and were eventually labeled “heartthrobs” Beginning in the late 1990s, viewers noticed how their distinctive traits changed dramatically.
The Twins Now
The Bogdanovs’ interest in cosmetic surgery began in the late 1990s and has lasted far too long. The identical twins chose to undergo their surgeries at the same time, which allowed them to maintain their twin appearance as their faces changed. The Bogdanov twins are now 70 years old and still look this way. According to rumors, the twins have had multiple chin and cheek implants. Botox and dermal fillers are also available.
Geena Davis Then
Geena Davis was a hot item in the 1980s. When Beetlejuice and then Thelma and Louise catapulted her to box-office stardom, it seemed she couldn’t go wrong. Davis and her ex-husband Jeff Goldblum were on the front of every magazine in the 1990s, and you couldn’t turn around in a store without seeing them. The Fly, their reimagining of the horror classic, is repulsive. Renny Harlin’s flop Cutthroat Island, directed by her now ex-husband, was the only genuine blemish on the ointment. They made the film specifically to help Geena launch her career. It turned out to be a flop, and she was nearly bankrupt as a result.
Geena Davis Now
Geena is still looking terrific, especially considering she’s in her sixties! The well-known actress may be seen here advocating the Women’s Sports Foundation’s battle for gender equality in sports. Geena still performs occasionally, but she now devotes most of her time to campaigning. She’s even set up a research center to look into gender stereotypes in the media. She was one of 300 hopefuls for a spot on the women’s Olympic archery team in 1999. She may play an adult Katniss Everdeen if Disney sells the Hunger Games series.
Axl Rose Then
In 1987, Guns’n’Roses, led by the lithe and limber, controversial-but-not-just-for-wearing-bike-shorts-on-stage Axl Rose, established themselves as unchallenged rulers of complicated rock music. “Appetite for Destruction” has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, with the sequel “Use Your Illusion” selling an additional 35 million. Rose was famous back then for inciting riots and smashing liquor bottles at crowds during live events, in addition to having a powerful voice. However, due to personal disagreements, the project quickly disintegrated. The band remained on sabbatical for a long period before finally releasing the album “Chinese Democracy,” which did not sell as well as their label had intended.
Axl Rose Now
If you don’t work too hard, it’s easy to fall into the habit of eating comfort food. That appears to be what occurred to Axl Rose, who has matured from his youth’s tight-body form to a more mature body type. On Twitter, he extols the benefits of Taco Bell, but isn’t rock & roll all about excess? Doritos Excessively cheesy Gordita Crunches could have cut out a lot of his drinking from his glory days backstage. However, he is on his way out. In 2016, he took over as AC/tour DC’s frontman, and Guns’n’Roses recently reformed and announced a world tour. You’ve got it, Axl!
Jackie Stallone Then
Jackie Stallone is well known as the mother of Sylvester Stallone and Frank Stallone, both actors. Her presence, on the other hand, drew far more media interest than is customary for a celebrity mom, and she has made multiple appearances on the TV interview circuit. She also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in the United Kingdom in 2005. However, it is logical that someone in the public eye would be concerned about their image. Stallone has had her fair share of cosmetic procedures.
Jackie Stallone Now
We can’t blame Jackie for wanting to recreate her childhood, but some say she rushed through the treatments. To each his own, we say, however she recently stated that one of her operations was “botched.” Her lips may have appeared puffy at first, but this would decrease with time and return to a more normal state. Jackie died quietly in her sleep in 2020, at the age of 98.
Mark Hamill Then
Mark Hamill, who portrayed Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy, was a cultural giant who impacted generations of filmmakers. Mark’s Star Wars fame didn’t always bode well for his career. “I don’t want Luke Skywalker in my video,” declared one producer vehemently. Mark’s performance was too famous for him to be swiftly cast in further films, and he spent the rest of his career doing voiceover work. Many of the recent cartoon adaptations of the story had him as Batman’s evil enemy, the Joker.
Mark Hamill Now
Who cares what you look like when your only job is off-screen? For a while, Mark Hamill let it slide because, after all, who cares if no one sees you? And the traffic accident he was involved in during the first Star Wars film didn’t help matters. As seen in The Empire Strikes Back, there are genuine scars from the crash. As Star Wars revived for a second trilogy, and he was invited to resume the role of Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill was urged to hit the gym and reclaim some of his prior good-looking splendor. It was a success, and he still sees himself as the sex appeal he once was.
Catherine Bach Then
Catherine Bach, who played Daisy Duke in Dukes of Hazzard, was possibly the 1980s’ most visible sex icon. She was known for wearing sexy denim trousers and looking attractive throughout the season, and she served as a foil for the Duke brothers and their adventures against the hapless Boss Hogg and his underlings. At the height of her fame, her legs were reported to be insured for a million dollars. Have the anxiety. If you harm yourself while shaving, you could face legal action. Producers resurrected the role for a film, but this time Jessica Simpson played Daisy.
Catherine Bach Now
During the filming of Dukes of Hazzard, Catherine Bach’s acting career took a turn for the worse. She was most likely typecast for the role, preventing her from being cast in subsequent shows or films. Another possibility is that she fulfilled all of her career goals as an actor in the film industry and wants to dedicate more time to her two children. She has mostly played supporting roles since then. She has, however, launched her jewelry line with the Debenhams retail chain in the United Kingdom. Her ex-husband, Peter Lopez, committed suicide by shooting himself in April 2010.
Jocelyn Wildenstein Then
Jocelyn Wildenstein was a lovely young woman who was at the pinnacle of her profession as a New York City socialite. She was a globetrotting young lady who refined her shooting and piloting abilities along the way. She’s also known for squandering money like it’s water. She spent more than $60,000 per year on personal phone conversations, and her wine bill was more than $500,000 per year! Adnan Khashoggi, a Saudi arms trader, introduced her to her future husband, Alec Wildenstein, a wealthy art dealer with aristocratic ancestry.
Jocelyn Wildenstein Now
Jocelyn, I’m truly sorry. It is not uncommon for a lady to seek the assistance of a cosmetic surgeon when her appearance deteriorates. As you can see, Jocelyn Wildenstein was not one of them. She became addicted to cosmetic surgery, and she progressively morphed from a lovely young lady into something resembling Frankenstein’s monster. She’s known as “Catwoman” in the New York social scene, and she could be the poster girl for why cosmetic surgery isn’t always the best decision. She thinks the lynx has a magnificent vision, according to a Vanity Fair interview. Friends claim she keeps one of the wild cats as a pet since it is her ultimate beauty goal/obsession.
Boy George Then
Boy George, born George Alan O’Dowd, was the frontman for Culture Club, one of the most successful music groups of the 1980s. George stood out as a London club kid known for his eccentric flair and outlandish attitudes until he was recognized by Sex Pistol boss Malcolm McLaren. Boy George’s unusual appearance contributed to the success of songs such as “Karma Chameleon,” “Time (Clock of the Heart),” and “Do You Just Want to Hurt Me.” His vibrant androgynous dress and appearance make him instantly recognizable to millions of followers around the world.
Boy George Now
Boy George’s life did not go smoothly after the band broke up for a long period. Culture Club’s dissolution was precipitated by a sexual relationship between George and the band’s guitarist, drug use, and the untimely death of their keyboard player due to an overdose, as he later revealed in interviews. He earned a lengthy prison sentence for imprisoning and then sexually raping a rent child. Boy George has served his time and is now hoping to make a comeback. He writes stories, sews garments, takes photographs, and composes music. His most recent artistic work has received positive feedback for its sincerity and modesty.
Cybill Shepherd Then
In the 1980s, Cybill Shepherd’s role as Maddie Hayes on TV’s Moonlighting brought her to the notice of the media. Nonetheless, it was her performance in Taxi Driver, co-starring with Robert DeNiro, that sealed their connection. The on-screen chemistry between Maddie Hayes and Bruce Willis was legendary, and the series was a global success for four years. Interesting fact: When they were working together, Shepherd Bruce Willis considered having an affair but decided against it to avoid increasing the show’s already high level of tension.
Cybill Shepherd Now
Though Shepherd is attractive for her time, her days of playing the lead role exclusively for sex appeal are long gone. She’s also an actress, having starred on The L Word, Psych, Criminal Minds, and The Client List, among others. Her most recent appearance was in the 2015 film Do You Believe?, which was heavily influenced by Christianity. Her character was a bereaved mother who had lost her child. Shepherd actually has three children.
Caitlin Jenner Then
Caitlin Jenner was a family member on the popular reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians only a few years ago. The film, which starred Kris Jenner, his siblings Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner, as well as a plethora of friends and love interests, was a huge success. She’s also appeared on a number of other television shows, including The Weakest Link, Skating for Celebrities, and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! I’m trying to find a way out of here.
Caitlyn Jenner Now
Caitlin Jenner was dissatisfied with her performance on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! According to a source close to the reality TV star, she felt dowdy without her regular routine. Despite this, she appears to be at ease in her own skin these days. She told the Daily Mail, “It takes a little longer to get up, but now I can be myself every day.” That is something that we can all aspire toward!
Bruce Willis Then
Cybill Shepherd’s Moonlighting co-star, Bruce Willis, began his acting career in off-Broadway shows. He is most known for his role as John McClane, a police officer turned vigilante, in the Die Hard film series. In addition to The Sixth Sense, he appears in Sin City, Color of Night, Pulp Fiction, Looper, and 12 Monkeys. Willis’ career has been extremely lucrative, with parts in over 60 films and several television shows. He married Demi Moore in 1987, but the couple separated in 2000. After their divorce, they remained companions and had three daughters together.
Bruce Willis Now
Bruce’s career shows no signs of slowing. He returned to the stage in a production of Stephen King’s Misery in 2015. Prior to that, he returned to his most well-known role in the 2013 film Good Day to Die Hard. The picture, however, is recognized as a critical and financial flop. He has been vociferous in his support for the US military in Iraq and Israel in recent years. Willis is married to model Emma Heming, with whom he has two daughters. He was the ninth highest-grossing performer in North America in 2010. It’s not that horrible.
Kelly Le Brock Then
Kelly Le Brock was an instant hit when she first appeared on television. She co-starred in The Woman in Red with Gene Wilder, a comedy/actor great. The model’s daughter was anticipated to be a natural in front of the camera! She went on to star in the mega-hit adolescent sitcom Weird Science in 1985. She portrayed a fantasy woman created by two teens in a research experiment. Despite the film’s intrinsic misogyny, her character as a competent woman guides the boys through a series of harsh lessons that develop them into men.
Kelly Le Brock Now
Kelly’s life has been full of ups and downs, and her prime acting years appear to be behind her. In 1986, she married actor Steven Seagal, but the couple separated in 1996. They had three children together throughout their marriage. She’s been active in the homeopathic community since then, and she’s one of the first women in the United States to own a hyperbaric chamber, which is used to treat a variety of ailments such as diseases and blood bubbles. Today, LeBrock works as a representative for a children’s cancer group.
Chuck Norris Then
Chuck Norris has been immortalized in a never-ending line of jokes about how tough he is due to his status as a martial artist. Other well-known memes include: “Chuck Norris will not die of a heart attack. In fighting him, his spirit isn’t as foolish as his mind.” While he was younger, he was still a significant heartthrob, and his superb looks gained him a large following (as well as for his acting and martial arts skills). One of his most well-known roles was as the protagonist in Walker, Texas Ranger. He co-starred with Bruce Lee in the film Way of the Dragon.
Chuck Norris Now
Chuck Norris, the legendary martial artist, has hardened rather than aged. His acting career is still thriving, including recent performances in The Expendables series. He’s also a committed Christian. He’s written a number of books about Christianity. Chuck is a Republican who has worked for Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and invests a substantial amount of his time (and money) to Republican causes. He also writes a personal health column for WordNetDaily and appears in various fitness-related infomercials. Norris is well-known on social media and keeps his followers up to date on his family’s activities.
Whoopi Goldberg Then
It’s probably safe to say Whoopi Goldberg was never a sex icon. More than her beauty, she is well-known for her outstanding acting abilities and exuberant demeanor. She has 13 Emmy nominations and has won at least one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. She won critical acclaim in 1985 for her role in The Color Purple, a film about an oppressed black woman in the Deep South. Her participation in Ghost in the 1990s, however, sealed her place in the public eye. Sister Act, Hollywood Squares, and The View were among her many hit films and television shows.
Whoopi Goldberg Now
Whoopi has obviously gained weight since her Ghost days. Many of these occurrences have been attributed in the media to her enjoyment of a good joint, which contributes to the munchies on occasion. Furthermore, it is natural for most of us to gain weight over time. Though Whoopi continues to act on occasion, she now devotes the majority of her time to LGBT advocacy. Her “Give a Damn” movement seeks to inspire homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people to join forces with heterosexuals in pursuit of equitable and fair lifestyles. That’s amazing. Thank you for everything you do, Whoopi!
Wayne Newton Then
Wayne Newton, a vocalist, has been one of the most well-known acts to come out of Las Vegas, Nevada, for decades. In his prime, he was a hot commodity, with songs like “Daddy, Don’t You Walk Too Far” and “Years” appearing in the Billboard Top 100. Perhaps his most famous hit is “Danke Schoen,” which was featured prominently in the iconic 1980s film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Many of the 1970s’ biggest stars, including Lucille Ball, George Burns, Bobby Darin, Jack Benny, and Danny Thomas, supported Wayne Newton throughout his career.
Wayne Newton Now
Wayne Newton’s personal life hasn’t been perfect, and his assets have been a total mess, in addition to his ever-expanding obesity. For most of the 2000s, he was probed for various forms of financial misconduct, and it all came to a climax in 2012 when he declared bankruptcy. From Wayne’s perspective, the worst is over, and he’s back in his former house, having reached an agreement with his creditors. But everything isn’t all despair and gloom. Mr. Entertainment is very involved in causes that raise funds for diabetes treatment. That’s wonderful!
Linda Evans Then
Linda Evans debuted as Audra Barkley in the Western television series The Big Valley. It’s not, however, what she’s widely known for. Her role as Krystle Carrington in the 1980s epic soap Dynasty launched her to fame. She played Krystle for nearly eight years, and the show drew over 20 million viewers in the United States and millions more worldwide. Linda Evans has received five Golden Globe nominations in a row for her performance. Evans also won Hell’s Kitchen in 2009 after appearing on the show’s return episode, Dynasty: Catfights and Caviar.
Linda Evans Now
Those nefarious plastic surgeons are at it again, shattering hearts. Where can they teach their patients to mature gracefully (and organically) without resorting to the knife? Linda Evans’ amazing beauty was featured in Playboy magazine in 1971. So it was only natural that as those looks began to fade, Linda sought a quick remedy. She enlisted the help of a medical professional. Unfortunately, as with any aesthetic surgery, there is always the possibility that things will not go exactly as anticipated. They didn’t do the same for Linda. She has appeared on television numerous times to discuss the failed procedure.
John Travolta Then
John Travolta got his start in television on the classic sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter. Travolta’s success, however, is largely due to the 1970s mega-hits Saturday Night Fever and Grease. He was young, personable, and possessed a one-of-a-kind ability to dance. His posters adorned the walls of millions of young girls. He appeared to have everything figured out. His acting career took a big knock in the 1980s when he couldn’t seem to land a leading role. Even when he did, the films vanished into thin air. Fortunately, Travolta’s roles began to resurface.
John Travolta Now
Some say he’s gone from a heartthrob to a hunk of lust. Although John’s career was revitalized in the 1990s as a result of his presence in 1994’s Pulp Fiction, things have not gone well for him in the appearance area. As we all do from time to time, he appears to have gained weight and lost hair. John has been roundly criticised for his appearance in the media, illustrating that equality works both ways. He’s even tried to dispute that he had a love relationship with his former pilot, Douglas Gotterba.
Goldie Hawn Then
Goldie Hawn won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1969 for her first main role in Cactus Flower. It was a challenging duty as Walter Matthau’s suicidal fiancee. She is well recognized for her comedic performances, the most notable of which is that of Private Benjamin, for which she got an Academy Award. Her flawless blonde hair and superb looks drove her to a multi-decade career. Hawn’s other film credits include Butterflies Are Free, Housesitter, Shampoo, Death Becomes Her, and First Wives Club. Her husband, fellow filmmaker Kurt Russell, has been with her since 1983.
Goldie Hawn Now
Let’s be honest: Goldie Hawn is now in her 70s, and it’s difficult to be a total fox in that era. Her partner is Kurt Russell, with whom she has been in a relationship since 1983. The Hawn Foundation, which focuses on increasing children’s academic achievement, now consumes the majority of her time. The foundation is concentrating its efforts on conducting a research analysis that will illustrate how students might showcase superior academic learning practices. Kate Hudson, Hawn’s popular and gorgeous daughter, bears a striking resemblance to her mother. The younger blonde starlet would surely seek assistance from her mother as she grew older!
Edward Furlong Then
Edward Furlong, on the other hand, shone from the start. He won Teen Idol and went on to play John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. His portrayal of a skinhead in American History X was praised for its authenticity while being panned for its horrifying violence. Over the years, Furlong has starred in films such as Pet Sematary 2, American Heart, Detroit Rock City, The Green Hornet, and A Home of Our Own. His acting career extended until the 1990s, with varied degrees of success (including another Terminator picture), and he also recorded a song called Hold on Tight, which was exclusively available in Japan.
Edward Furlong Now
Edward’s life eventually become unbalanced. His reputation began to deteriorate as a result of severe drug and alcohol problems that gradually intensified. In October of 2000, Edward was finally admitted to treatment. He stated, “I was a drug addict who abused opium and cocaine. It was quite frightening. I haven’t mentioned [partying] in a long time. Playing, clubbing, and snorting coke appear to be lonely pursuits these days. I get sleeplessness when I use a lot of medicines.” His prior drug addiction issues can be noticed on his face.
Janice Dickinson Then
There was Janice Dickinson, who may have been the first supermodel, but there are other worthy contenders. No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World’s First Supermodel, Dickinson’s book, backs up her claims. What is certain is that she was undeniably one of the most beautiful women of her generation. She was a worldwide fashion star in the 1970s and 1980s. Janice Dickinson was cast as a judge on America’s Top Model in 2003, so who better to advise aspiring models than Janice Dickinson?
Janice Dickinson Now
Janice had to be pining for her youth despite operating her own modeling business and performing on television because she was allowed to go under the feared plastic surgeon’s knife. Unfortunately, Janice, like so many other performers, thought this was a bad idea. Because of the operation, she is no longer recognizable as the lady she once was. Her next appearance on television was on the show Botched!, where the show’s specialists tried to repair the significant damage to her beauty. Dickinson was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2016. As of this writing, she is doing well on her meds.
Johnny Depp Then
Johnny Depp made his cinematic debut in Oliver Stone’s Platoon, but he only played a modest supporting role. He gained his first break with the publishing of Edward Scissorhands, which is mostly viewed as a dark romance. His youthful good looks, combined with his first lead’s performance, ensured that he’d have many of opportunity to play in the future. His career trajectory has been positive, and he is now one of the world’s most recognizable figures. Depp has dated a number of Hollywood’s top names, including Stranger Things’ Winona Ryder and supermodel Kate Moss. He has two twins with his ex-wife, French beauty Vanessa Paradis.
Johnny Depp Now
He may be a famous person, but there is nothing anyone can do to avoid the effects of aging and drinking on their appearance. Depp’s success nowadays is based on his box office results and acting talents rather than his physical beauty. This did not stop him from becoming the highest-paid actor in 2012 and being inducted into the Disney Hall of Fame in 2015. His films have earned more than $7 billion globally. Depp’s legal problems may become as well-known as his once-beautiful looks. Fans of the ex-heartthrob were taken aback by his recent (and very public) divorce from actress Amber Heard.
Elsa Patton Then
Elsa Patton later became known as “Mama Elsa.” after appearing on The Real Housewives of Miami. Her participation was so well received that she was given her own spin-off series, Havana Elsa, which aired on Bravo between seasons of The Real Housewives of Miami. Unfortunately, the spin-off was terminated after “Mama Elsa” slipped and injured herself. She is claimed to have suffered a brain damage as a result of a fall at her home. Mama Elsa was once a very attractive lady, as evidenced by this photograph. Let’s take a look at her right now…
Elsa Patton Now
Once again, it’s the cosmetic doctors’ fault, and a lovely lady wanting to keep her beauty is disfigured. Her daughter, Marysol, claimed that her mother’s 1980s eyelid surgery “gave her hematomas on her eyes for like three years.” That is an outrageous cost for anyone to pay for plastic surgery, and “Mama Elsa” is better recognized for her post-surgical condition than for her heyday of beauty. Marysol maintains that her mother was practically unrecognizable at the time and during her subsequent treatments, but she doesn’t recall Elsa getting a facelift.
Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart Then
The 18th Duchess of Alba, Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, may be the wealthiest person on the list. She was a billionaire who reportedly spent as much money on her wedding as the Queen of England. She was also a stunning lady known for her scandals and intimate connections with numerous men during her life. She is also known for being the world’s most named aristocrat, with over 40 names. In 2011, she was named to the Vanity Fair International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame.
Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart Now
Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart was continually circling the men at the end of her life (at least according to the Spanish scandal sheets), but we doubt they were interested in anything other than her beautiful looks. However, it did not succeed. Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart’s final boyfriend (they were married from 2011 until her death) didn’t receive a penny in her will, despite the fact that he expected to walk away wealthy. Fitz-James Stuart had six children and was the grandfather of nine grandchildren.
Suzanne Somers Then
Suzanne Somers gained to fame as Chrissy Snow in Three’s Company, an American television series based on the British sitcom Man About the House. Surprisingly, the British version only lasted six seasons, but the American version lasted eight. She co-starred in the picture alongside Joyce DeWitt and Jack Ritter, and it is still a fan favorite today. She portrayed Carol Lambert in Step-by-Step, solidifying her reputation as one of America’s favorite sitcom actors, and her seductive good looks aided her cause. Step-by-Step was broadcast until 1998.
Suzanne Somers Now
Suzanne Somers always looks great today, perhaps too nice for a woman who is already 70 years old. She claims she hasn’t had any cosmetic surgery, but it’s highly doubtful she hasn’t had any work done. Despite this, she is a staunch proponent of holistic and complementary medicine, and she most likely discovered the fountain of youth while reading one of her books on the subject. Somers is a two-time cancer patient who chose the natural route after her first round of rigorous surgeries.
Nicole Eggert Then
Nicole Eggert’s beauty was noticeable from an early age, as she won a spot in the Miss Universe small section at the age of five. Her adult appearance was brought to the attention of viewers by her role as Summer Quinn in the lifeguard drama Baywatch. She was also scheduled to appear in a Baywatch spin-off film, but it was scrapped before filming began. Nicole rose to fame prior to Baywatch as Jamie Powell on the smash sitcom Charles In Charge, where she co-starred with adolescent sensation Scott Baio.
Nicole Eggert Now
After Baywatch ended, Nicole’s star began to fade along with her appearance. She’s appeared on a slew of reality shows in the last decade, including Splash, a celebrity diving competition. She was allegedly harmed while filming the show, although she disputes it. Nicole has since been in a number of Lifetime movies. Nicole also works as the owner and operator of an ice cream truck, which is unusual for a recent celebrity. Her company’s name is Scoops, and she is the one that drives the car! According to Nicole, the company is run by a family.
Lil’ Kim Then
Lil’ Kim (born Kimberly Denise Jones) was born and reared in Brooklyn, where she began rapping at a young age. For her big break, she linked up with the late Notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace) and his party Junior M.A.F.I.A. in 1995. She was only 19 years old at the time. Kim and Biggie began dating and dated on and off until Biggie died in 1997. Lil’ Kim’s debut album, “Hard Core,” was released in 1996. The album was awarded double platinum due to the inclusion of the producers’ #1 tracks. Kim’s next two albums went platinum, establishing her as a legitimate powerhouse.
Kim Now
The well-known “It’s like the more wealth we come through, the more issues we see,” B.I.G. penned in the song Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems. The line appears to have remained true for Kim when she was catapulted into celebrity and the inevitable blunders that come with it. She’s had a slew of legal and financial issues in the years since she first made a name for herself as an artist. Kim’s startling cosmetic surgery on her face is one of the most shocking changes she has made. She doesn’t resemble the Lil’ Kim we all loved in the 1990s.
Donatella Versace Then
Donatella Versace, the Versace Group’s principal designer and Vice President, is an Italian luxury icon. Donatella has a unique sense of beauty that has gained her a lot of attention and reputation in the modeling profession. She is well-known for her beautiful blonde hair and dark tanned skin. Versace clothing is worn by A-list celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson, Blake Lively, Angelina Jolie, Katy Perry, Cheryl Cole, and January Jones. In this flashback photo, Donatella is pictured with her brother, the late fashion designer Gianni Versace, at a party in the early 1990s.
Donatella Now
Donatella Versace has had multiple cosmetic procedures since the last photograph was taken, and some say she has overdone it. Several sarcastic users have labeled her a “human waxwork” According to numerous renowned cosmetic surgeons who have evaluated images of her everyday appearance, she appears to have had a failed facelift as well as extensive lip injections. Her blond brows aren’t exactly enhancing the overall effect. She’s never been one to accept the natural look in order to be satisfied with the end product. She has admitted to taking Botox in the past, although she normally credits her skin and hair’s appearance to “tons of cream.”
Courteney Cox Then
Courteney Cox rose to prominence after appearing in Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark.” music video. The fans learned to love her as Monica Gellar on the megahit television sitcom Friends. Jennifer Aniston, her co-star, is still a close friend, and the two are routinely spotted out and about together after all these years. Cox later appeared in the television shows Cougartown and Dirt, as well as the Scream film franchise. She was married to fellow actor David Arquette from 1999 until their divorce in 2013. Coco is the couple’s first child.
Courteney Cox Now
Courteney Cox also appeared on an episode of Bear Grylls’ Running Wild, and she was candid about the cosmetic surgery she’s had to maintain her youthful beauty. She said that she had gone too quickly, adding, “I’ve committed mistakes for which I apologize, and happily, they’re mistakes that pass away. That’s good, but that hasn’t always been my best look. So I’ve developed a new mantra: ‘Just let it be.'” Grylls persuaded her to forego any more surgical procedures, adding that her natural beauty is amazing.
Joan Van Ark Then
Joan Van Ark is best known for playing Valene Ewing in the long-running television series Dallas. She later worked for Dallas’ spin-off show, Knot’s Landing, for 13 seasons. After that, she returned to Dallas for the 2013 remake. She has also served as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race and provided voice talent for Archer’s animated film.
Joan Van Ark Now
In recent appearances, Joan Van Ark’s looks has stunned spectators. Even though she is in her 70s, it is painfully obvious that she has had substantial work done on her once-beautiful looks. In an interview with the National Enquirer, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who has not treated Van Ark, stated, “I believe she’s had at least one, if not two, facelifts, resulting in a tight neckline and jawline.” Her brow is wrinkle-free and flat, maybe as a result of brow lift and Botox.”
Keith Richards
Keith Richards is best known as The Rolling Stones’ main guitarist. Back in his peak, he was known for extensive partying and drug use, primarily between the late 1960s and the early 1980s. In recent years, he has also been extremely candid about his drug addiction and how it was responsible for some of the worst situations he has had. The English musician, singer, and composer is currently 77 years old, but we think he hasn’t aged well.
Tara Reid
Tara Reid is an American actress best known for her roles in films such as American Pie, Cruel Intentions, Van Wilder, and The Hungover Games. She was undeniably beautiful in her prime years. However, when it comes to aging gracefully, Reid, 45, may have fallen short. Tara has lost a lot of weight since her surgeries, but we think she’s looking a little too thin lately. Unfortunately, she has also been the victim of a number of botched plastic surgeries.
Amanda Bynes
Fans were recently surprised to see what the once-beautiful Amanda Bynes looks like these days. The former child star was not only attractive, but she also had a body that many people admired. Unfortunately, Amanda Bynes isn’t looking her best after battling drug addiction and serious mental illness. Bynes has been photographed with unkempt hair and a shabby appearance. This is not the same star we know and love. The 35-year-old has really let herself go, and we can only hope that things improve drastically. She isn’t that elderly, after all!
Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan is another kid star we’re disappointed to learn isn’t aging well. The 34-year-old actress has been in a number of memorable films, including The Parent Trap, Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, Just My Luck, and Herbie. We’ve seen Lohan in the news in connection with partying, smoking, and a lot of drinking in recent years. Of course, we understand she’s living her life and trying to have fun, but it appears that her lifestyle is finally catching up with her. We can only hope that this wonderful actress will return soon. There have been rumors of a Mean Girls reunion, and we would love to see Lindsay on the big screen very soon!
Matthew Perry
Matthew Perry is best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the television sitcom Friends. However, the actor has also acted in films such as 17 Again, Fools Rush In, and The Whole Ten Yards. Perry has had a number of romances with notable celebrities since her rise to stardom, but she has yet to settle down. Unfortunately, reports that he has been battling addiction for many years were substantiated. Perry was also battling with pancreatitis-related weight changes. This could be one of the reasons he hasn’t aged properly.
Lisa Rinna
This next well-known celebrity has certainly had a lot of work done to her figure. It’s entirely up to her whether or not she considers these surgeries a success. Lisa Rinna is an American actress best known for her role as Billie Reed on the popular serial opera Days of Our Lives. The 57-year-old, on the other hand, has most recently been on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which has been on the air since 2010. Rinna has admitted to getting Botox and Juvéderm injections as well as plastic surgery. Although she still likes Botox, she claims that taking Juvéderm was a major mistake.
The Olsen Twins
People who grew up in the 1990s adored the Olsen Twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are former child actresses who made their television debuts as infants as Michelle Turner on Full House. It was as though the twins were an overnight sensation…by the age of six, they were starring together in a variety of films and TV series. Although they wanted the public to see them as two distinct people, it appeared that the pair couldn’t do anything without the other. It was revealed in the mid-2000s that Mary-Kate had been suffering from a variety of health difficulties, including anorexia. On the other hand, allegations began to circulate that Asjely was embroiled in a drug scandal. These personal challenges clearly had a significant impact on the Olsen Twins.
Victoria Beckham
There is no denying that the former Spice Girl is stunning. Victoria Beckham rose to prominence as Posh Spice in the British musical group Posh Spice, which was created in the mid-1990s. The singer later married David Beckham, the heartthrob. The couple rapidly became England’s hottest couple. However, soon after she and Beckham married, she began using Botox and eventually went under the knife. Many years later, she revealed that she regretted her breast implants, but she also stated that plastic surgery normally makes individuals feel a lot better about themselves.
Priscilla Presley
Priscilla Presley is most known for her marriage to Elvis Presley, the “King of Rock and Roll” However, the actress has been in a number of memorable films and television shows, including Naked Guns, Dallas, and Spin City. Unfortunately, Presley was the victim of a botched Botox procedure, which turned out to be worse than usual. In an interview, the 75-year-old said that this is what caused all of the tumors and partial paralysis in her face. This is possibly also why she appears to be much older than she is.
Cher
Cher has been stunningly attractive since she was a child. Many of us and her followers secretly wished she hadn’t had so much plastic surgery because we would have liked to see her age naturally. The 75-year-old singer, on the other hand, has never been hesitant about discussing plastic surgery—but she refuses to acknowledge to work she hasn’t done. She also stated that it is none of her business what she does with her body. To be honest, we don’t think she’s looking too hot right now. But it appears that she will not stop with all of the medical procedures.
Macaulay Culkin
Who can forget the adorable kid from Home Alone? Unfortunately, despite being one of the most popular child actors of the 1990s, Macaulay Culkin looks nothing like he did when he was younger. Culkin has also grown up and hasn’t done much acting lately; instead, he’s been performing in a pizza-themed parody band called “The Pizza Underground.” He was also arrested for substance addiction not long ago. Believe it or not, Macaulay Culkin is 40 years old… let’s hope the new father will age gracefully from now on.
Ed O’Neill
We all fell in love with Ed O’Neill when he played Al Bundy on the sitcom Married… with Children in the late 1980s. He was even nominated for two Golden Globes for this. Recently, the actor has been in the award-winning sitcom Modern Family. Despite the fact that O’Neill works hard to maintain his health, eats well, and even practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu, the 75-year-old has not aged gracefully. We still adore him and his humor, though.
David Hasselhoff
We had to include this hunk on our list. Actor David Hasselhoff, nicknamed ‘The Hoff,’ set a Guinness World Record as the most-watched guy on television. He rose to prominence on The Young and the Restless, but later on the spectacular Knight Rider and Baywatch, fans couldn’t get enough of him. Today, the 68-year-old is still working in Hollywood. But the major, contentious debate is whether The Hof improves with age. To be honest, we believe his youth is when he blesses the world.
Dave Coulier
Don’t worry if you don’t recognize him; we’ll remind you. Dave Coulier is most known for his appearance in Full House. His voice was later used in both Ghostbusters and Muppet Babies. Coulier, like many of the other celebrities we’ve covered, has been through a lot in his life. And, like us, our health and attractiveness suffer as a result of our struggles and tribulations. As a result, it’s no surprise that Dave Coulier’s age is clearly visible.
Ellen DeGeneres
As a result, some people adore her, while others despise her. Whatever your feelings are regarding the comedian and TV host, Ellen DeGeneres has done incredible things for the globe. Not only does the 63-year-old host her own talk show, but she is also an outspoken supporter of animal rights, vegetarianism, and, of course, the LGBTQ community. Throughout her career, she has received 30 Emmys, 20 People’s Choice Awards, and several other honors for her work and philanthropic endeavors.
